 We
are two people with a passion for food, cooking, friends, family, and
entertaining. With a love affair for our kitchen, as well as each
other, given to us by our favorite cooks Audrey Ross Veney and Ophelia Freitas Baptiste, our grandmothers. With special thanks to our
Aunt
Carol who believed that we would take it this far. And, thanks to friends
like Gloria and Alfonso, who encouraged when most others said we would
never do it; we've been able to build this site for you.
Oh yeah, let us not forget, thanks to our sister Dahli...just causes she's Dahli. We built this site because we were taught to share and with over 25 years of restaurant and catering experience between us, we felt it important to share what we love most with whom ever might have an interest. If cooking and/or food is your passion then this is the place for you. You'll find everything here is stuff that we or our members would use in their own kitchens or parties. Take your time and look around, share your favorite cooking story with us. We are dedicated to keeping this site relevant for anyone who loves to cook, is learning to cook, or just wants a place to talk about food. You'll find the stuff that we use in our own kitchens (both at home and professionally). And, if we're lucky, a few things from aunt Carol's kitchen (which is just incredible).
